Sullivan Baptist is moving ahead with Building on His Promise to build all of Phase 1. Ground breaking took place on the evening of September 8, 2013 and brought us into the next phase of God's plan for us. We are excited about what God is doing here and pray that He will continue to reveal His unique plan in the weeks and months ahead. The plan includes the lobby, elevator, child care facility and also the worship center.
Welcome to Sullivan Baptist Church's website !! We're glad you're here and we hope your visit is enjoyable. If this is your first visit to Sullivan Baptist, welcome first time guests. We would encourage you to browse around the site and become more familiar with who we are. Also check out the sermons link to the right and listen to some of the latest Sunday morning sermons if you're interested. Through this website and all of our outreach programs, we always keep Christ as the center piece in what we do since "it's not about us, it's about Jesus!"
In March 2010, we started a building campaign called "Building on His Promise". To learn more about the campaign, click on the "Building" link at the top of the page.
You are welcome at Sullivan Baptist Church no matter how you are dressed; however, our membership strives to respect the Lord and honor Him even in our dress. Upon entering the church, you will quickly see people dressed professionally (coat, tie, dresses, etc.), business casual (slacks, polos), and relaxed (jeans, pullovers, etc.) You will quickly see that we are a diverse group that welcomes you to worship Him with us in Spirit and in Truth.
There is designated Visitor Parking near the front entrance of our Church.
Upon arrival, you will notice the silver cross on the front of the main building. The main entrance is to the left of the cross on the side of the building. When you enter, one of our greeters or ushers will direct you as needed to Sunday School or Worship.
A preschool nursery is available during the 11:00 a.m. and 6:00p.m. worship for ages birth through 5 years old. An infant (baby) nursery only is available during the 8:30 a.m. worship.
The nursery area is located downstairs in the main building. From the main entrance, go down the steps in the foyer and turn left to the nursery check-in. A preschool attendant will greet you there. Security is of the utmost importance to us as we care for your children. You will be asked to register your child. Pagers are available.
During the main worship Time of Fellowship, Kindergarten through 2nd grade children that desire to attend may be dismissed to the Fellowship Hall for Children’s Worship. Parents only may pick up their children from the Fellowship Hall following the main worship service. Children will not be released on their own or to a sibling.
